Possible causes:

1. Incorrect or improper applicaon. check that Powertrax No-Slip Tracon

System model is correct. Review applicaon guidelines. Verify that

applicaon conforms to all recommendaons and precauons. If required,

obtain assistance to conrm. Correct any applicaon error before placing

vehicle in service.

2. Improper installaon; defecve dierenal. Correctly follow installaon and

test procedures. Repair or replace any defecve components as necessary.

Do not operate your vehicle if the Powertrax No-Slip Tracon System

installaon does not proceed as specied or fails the test procedures.

3. Broken axle sha. Replace immediately! Although it may be possible to

apply power to the wheel with the non-broken axle, this is absolutely not

recommended. Driving condions are unsafe and serious damage can occur.

Do not drive your vehicle!

4. Axle centerlines misaligned or axle housing bent. Replace or straighten bent

axle housing; realign if o center.

5. Axle or driveline components worn or defecve. Check the condion of all

driveline or axle components, including seals, bearings, ring & pinion gears,

axle shas, and other components. Replace if worn or defecve and repair

and any condion that may have contributed to premature component

failure.

6. Ring and pinion adjustments incorrect. Ensure ring and pinion gears are

adjusted properly. Note: Special calibraon equipment and experse is

usually required for the precise adjustments of ring and pinion gears to be

made correctly. Inspect and replace any worn components.
